IT Business Analyst /UKG Implementation Project

Position Profile 

We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to join the Information Technology team and serve as a key leader in our UKG Implementation project. This role will focus on all aspects of implementing and integrating a new Human Resource system with multiple IT solutions and teams. You will work closely with the Human Resource team, Finance Team, as well as multiple IT teams to build a cohesive solution that shares and synchronizes employee, contractor, and organization data. Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, confident and competent team leader, a trusted IT business partner with strong communication skills, organized, and capable of driving stakeholders to make timely decisions.  In addition, the ideal candidate must be flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment – balancing both strategic initiatives and the tactical needs of the project.

Position Requirements & Major Responsibilities 

  • Facilitate meetings to identify requirements, design solutions, solve problems, resolve conflict, and track the progress of work
  • Advocate and lead change management across business and IT organizations
  • Document requirements, business process, and build a knowledge base for the ongoing support of the UKG solution and integrations built to support the holistic solution
  • Perform administration, configuration, and test solutions to meet business requirements
  • Manage action items and tasks as needed to meet project milestones and deadlines
  • Manage communications and relationships with vendors, consultants, business partners, and IT teams to create high performing teams that work well together
  • Communicate status and provide project reporting to management and stakeholders
  • Other duties as necessary to meet the project or company needs

Prior Experience & Credentials Required 

  • Able to communicate complex business and technical information in a clear and concise manner to both technical and nontechnical people
  • Well versed in Human Resource (HR) or Human Capital Management (HCM) technologies, terminology, and best practices
  • 7 years of experience implementing or supporting HR or HCM solutions, such as UKG pro, UltiPro, Workday, ADP Workforce Now, Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft HR, or similar solutions
  • Bachelor’s (or Master’s degree) in Business, Communication, Computer and Information Sciences, or related field required
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building 
  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision 
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively across the IT, Finance, HR Teams and with key business stakeholders
Preferred Experience  
  • Prior experience with UKG, UltiPro, and Kronos
  • Knowledge of workforce management, payroll, benefits, personnel management, talent acquisition, workflows, onboarding, open enrollment, and regulation reporting
  • Working with Agile methodologies and Scrum teams
  • Experience with NetSuite, ServiceNow, Office 365, 8x8, Paycor, Concur, Power BI, Atlassian Jira and Confluence
