Manager Corporate ERP/Applications

We are seeking a Manager Corporate Applications to join the Information Technology Team and serve as a key leader in our business.  This role will have a broad ownership that encompasses almost all aspects of our ERP platform and grow into owning other aspects of back office or corporate applications including systems like HRIS, marketing, and payroll, which are highly integrated with our customer-facing web applications. The team you will be leading will support the finance, accounting, marketing, and customer service teams.  Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
 
The ideal candidate is a collaborative, confident and competent team leader and trusted IT business partner with a strong orientation for building highly effective teams, process and data driven decision making, and delivering on key initiatives with direct business value.  In addition, the ideal candidate must be flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment – balancing both strategic business support and the tactical daily IT needs of the business. 
 

Position Requirements & Major Responsibilities:  

  • Organize projects and activities to support corporate applications, which includes ERP, Finance, Accounting, CRM, Marketing, and HCM solutions
  • Manage a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities including developers, administrators, and other technical staff
  • Establish processes to manage the intake of work, production support, and to improve the efficiency of the team’s performance
  • Manage projects using traditional and Agile methods, including Scrum, Kanban, and waterfall
  • Manage communications and relationships with business partners to collaborate, prioritize, and coordinate changes to IT systems
  • Produce accurate and timely reporting of project status and team performance, including identifying and managing risks, issues, and changes 
  • Facilitate meetings to gather requirements, resolve conflict, and define the work necessary to accomplish the project or company goals. 
  • Be a talent builder to attract, mentor, and retain the best developers and administrators.
  • Other duties as necessary to meet the team or company needs.
 Prior Experience & Credentials Required 
  • Able to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner 
  • Well versed in ERP technologies and industry best practices
  • 10 years of experience building software in roles of increasing responsibility and technical capability 
  • 5+ years of experience managing a team of engineers of 3 or more 
  • 2+ years working with NetSuite 
  • Bachelor’s (or Master’s degree) in Computer Science or related field required
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication, presentation, and relationship building 
  • Excellent organization and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision 
  • Ability and desire to work collaboratively across the IT, Finance, and HR Teams and with key business stakeholders
 Preferred Experience  
  • NetSuite Administrator level knowledge of roles, permissions, custom records, scripting, workflows, reports, saved searches, dashboards, and forms to manage unique business process requirements within NetSuite 
  • Hands on experience with designing and/or supporting NetSuite integration with other business systems like Avalara, Concur, Boomi, Power BI, UKG, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc. 
  • Hands on experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, including setting up and managing boards and reports.
