The BI Data Warehouse Developer is responsible for the successful delivery of business intelligence information to the entire organization and is experienced in BI report and data warehouse development.  The Developer will work as part of an agile team to develop analytical reporting capabilities by leveraging the Microsoft BI Stack with emphasis on, but not limited to, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Pivot Tables, Power BI dashboards. Additionally, the candidate will work within the team to perform system integration and deployment activities, prepare system support documentation etc.  The strong candidate must be familiar with data warehousing with an emphasis in Kimball methodology. 
Job Duties:
  • Work as part of the agile team to develop operational, financial and management reports through the use of enterprise reporting tools in the Microsoft BI stack.
  • Create SSRS reports, SSIS/T-SQL ETL packages, SSAS cubes, pivot tables as needed, based on needs of the customers.
  • Integrate and customize Power BI Dashboards, utilizing KPIs, graphs and charts.
  • Analyze and test report results to ensure 100% accuracy.
  • Work with business representatives to identify areas for improvement for reporting.
  • Design data marts and reporting data sets in collaboration and consultation with the data architect.
  • Contribute to improvement of the overall reporting infrastructure, including participating evaluation of new BI tools.
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments at a time.
  • Assist with other team activities as needed. 
  • 6+ years of IT experience with at least 4 years of experience working on an analytics / BI team.
  • Experienced in MDX and supporting OLAP in a production environment.
  • Experienced in SharePoint dashboard development using Microsoft BI Stack.
  • Expert skills in SSRS 2012 +.
  • Expert skills in Excel 2013+, as front-end analytical/ reporting interface.
  • Experience and ability to create end to end BI solutions from source to user within the Microsoft BI Stack, including Power BI.
  • Strong SQL background, working knowledge of TSQL & understanding of relational and dimensional data models and structures.
  • Past experience in using ETL tools and capabilities.
  • Knowledge of Data Warehouse and data visualization tools.
  • Self-starter with the ability to identify actionable steps towards completing objectives.
  • Strong analytical, data analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team oriented environment
  • Agile experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Power BI suite.
