  • Provides management and technical expertise in the areas of Program Management, Project Management and associated methodologies and tools.
  • In addition to providing “hands-on” Project Management services, supports IT Supervisors and Managers using proven PMO techniques to achieve established objectives of scope, quality, time, cost, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • In this particular role, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate flexibility in mindset and the execution of their duties by managing both Agile and Waterfall methodology projects simultaneously.
  • Project management Waterfall/Traditional best practices will be maintained, while also facilitating the adoption of an Agile approach by development teams, articulating and reporting on the value of Agile development to executive leadership, and ensuring that the health of projects are accurately represented at the portfolio level.
  • The desired candidate will be expected to manage simultaneous projects from initiation to closing, demonstrate excellent listening skills, have a team mindset with a positive and collaborative attitude, form strong Agile Scrum teams, demonstrate conflict-resolution skills, provide project metrics that demonstrate an accurate reflection of project health, demonstrate strong project issue and risk management plus resolution skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree REQUIRED from an accredited college or university, preferably in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Engineering. PM Accreditation from PMI (PMP) preferred.
  • Proof of an Agile certification is required. ACP or CSM is strongly preferred.
  • At least Six to Eight years of experience managing projects is required with 3-5 years combined experience as an Agile Coach/Scrum Master.
  • Project Management experience should include development of Project Plans, Schedules and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
  • Experience using structured methodologies and project management systems are required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise Project Management Tool (EPM), MS Projects and an Agile tool (Rally or JIRA, etc.) is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and human relations skills with ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees are required.
