Network Engineer
The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of Core Infrastructure technologies.  
 
Responsibilities:
  • Work with the Senior Network Engineer to manage Cisco routing, switching, and voice, as well as take ownership of other core network technologies including load balancing, network monitoring, VPN, & DNS
  • Research, design, build, and maintain Cisco Nexus/network infrastructure, including wLAN, LAN, WAN, & VPN
  • Maintain relationships and meet regularly  with product and service providers to address issues and accomplish project & team goals
  • Document support structure
  • Collaborate  with team to model and sustain assigned core infrastructure technologies, such as Cisco ISE, PRIME, Citrix XenApp & Netscaler, DNS, TACACS,  etc. along with general network monitoring and forensics
  • Work with partners to develop and administer Cisco Call Center, Call Manager, and Unity
  • Collaborate with the Service desk team on network, voice, or other related support needs
  • Meet with various teams as they design/implement projects to make recommendations and help implement changes to the infrastructure while ensuring solutions are working as designed and best practices are followed
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technologies
  • At least 3 years of Cisco Networking Engineering experience is required, Voice experience is preferred
  • Ability to understand in-depth network concepts
  • Ability to communicate with internal and external partners in order to achieve project goals 
  • Strong customer service and analytical reasoning skills
  • Must be willing to work outside of normal business hours when needed and be a part of light on-call rotations
