Senior C# Software Architect
As a Senior Software Architect, your mission is to architect and refine a B2B SaaS platform designed for massive scalability, exemplifying our commitment to revolutionizing workplace efficiency. Your responsibilities include:
- Architecting Scalable Solutions: Design and implement a robust software architecture that serves as the backbone of the EPG SaaS platform, prioritizing scalability, reliability, and security to support exponential growth and a global user base.
- Leading Architectural Strategy: Spearhead architectural decisions by collaborating with company leadership and the development team to select innovative technologies and platforms that align with our strategic goals. Your decisions will lay the foundation for a platform capable of handling the complexities and demands of the EPG platform.
- Building with AI-Accelerated Tooling: Operate as a high-leverage, hands-on architect — using our AI-driven engineering accelerators and the Design System → IDE pathway to move from architecture to working implementation with a much smaller engineering team than traditional SaaS orgs require.
- Innovating with New Technologies: Proactively evaluate and integrate emerging technologies and architectures to propel the Organization ahead of the curve, enhancing our platform's capabilities, performance, and competitive edge — including applied AI capabilities embedded directly into the business application experience.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with leadership, product management, and engineering teams to precisely define system requirements, choose the most effective implementation strategies, and craft high-level system designs that meet the needs of our diverse B2B clientele.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Serve as a beacon of technical excellence, mentoring team members through complex design and architectural challenges, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
- Quality and Process Oversight: Vigilantly oversee the development process to ensure strict adherence to architectural principles and guidelines. Conduct thorough code and design reviews to maintain the highest standards of quality and maintainability.
- Continuous Learning and Innovation: Remain at the forefront of enterprise software trends, dedicating yourself to continuous learning and contributing significantly to the Organizations product development strategy. Your insights will drive the innovation that keeps the Organization at the leading edge of the industry.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Software Architect position is very senior — someone who has already operated at this level, not someone growing into it — and will exhibit:
- Academic Excellence: A bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, providing a strong technical foundation.
- Proven, Very Senior Architectural Expertise: Extensive, demonstrable experience as a software architect or in a comparable senior/staff-level role, with a proven track record of designing and deploying scalable, high-availability SaaS solutions, particularly in the B2B sector. This is not an entry point into architecture — candidates should already be operating at a very senior level.
- C# Expertise (Required): Expert-level, hands-on proficiency in C# is required. Additional modern language and web technology experience is a plus, but deep C# mastery is the baseline.
- Deep Technical Proficiency: A robust technical background in software development, including an intimate understanding of design patterns, architecture, and the intricacies of both front-end and back-end technologies.
- Agile Mastery: Expertise in Agile development methodologies and a thorough grasp of the software development life cycle, enabling you to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
- Cloud Architecture Acumen: Experience with designing scalable, cloud-native solutions that leverage the cloud's full potential for flexibility, scalability, and innovation.
- AI in Business Applications (Plus): Experience designing or integrating AI-driven capabilities within business or enterprise applications (e.g., embedded copilots, intelligent automation, predictive features) is a strong plus.
- WebAssembly (Plus): Experience with WebAssembly (Wasm) is a plus.
- Strategic Thinking: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strategic thinking skills, allowing you to anticipate technological trends and their implications for the Organization's platform.
- Team Communication: Outstanding communication skills, enabling you to articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders across the spectrum, from engineering teams to non-technical partners.
- Innovation and Passion: A genuine passion for technology and innovation, driven by a commitment to continuous learning and a desire to stay ahead of industry trends, ensuring the Organization remains at the forefront of the B2B software marketplace.
