Systems Administrator / VMware
Affton, MOJoin our IT Infrastructure team. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on work across enterprise systems, infrastructure projects, and operational improvements.

What You’ll Do
- Lead infrastructure projects from planning through deployment
- Manage and support VMware environments and enterprise systems
- Maintain network infrastructure including routing, switching, and firewalls
- Administer Microsoft 365 identity solutions including Entra ID Azure AD
- Drive automation using PowerShell, Power Automate, N8N, or similar tools
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve efficiency
- Support vulnerability management using Tenable or similar tools
- Participate in disaster recovery planning, testing, and remediation
- Develop and maintain operational playbooks for outages and incidents
- Serve as a senior escalation point and mentor team members
- Perform hands-on work including server installs, networking, and hardware support
- 5 plus years of infrastructure or systems administration experience
- Strong VMware and enterprise networking experience
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Intune, and Group Policy
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Cisco Meraki, Dell iDRAC, Zscaler, and Tenable
- Strong scripting and automation experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and climb ladders
- Experience racking and cabling servers and data center equipment
- Experience installing AV equipment including mounted displays and conferencing systems
